About Ronaldo

Ronaldo Fortune joins Duluth FC for our 2019 season, looking to use his club and collegiate experience to provide the BlueGreens with a new and deadly attacking option.

Fortune, who has played both wings and as an attacking midfielder, was born in Botswana where he played for first division club Mochudi Centre Chiefs, who have four Botswana Premier League titles. Fortune more recently played collegiately with the University of Mobile. During his time in Mobile, Fortune won two Offensive Player of the Week awards and made the All-Conference Second Team.

Fortune’s debut season with Duluth FC will present a new challenge, but one he looks forward to taking on. “I am always up for a new challenge to test myself with good or even better players to give myself a better chance at growing. I am very excited but also a bit anxious as it will be my first time traveling to Minnesota and to play for Duluth FC.”
