About Nicolas

Nicolas Torres brings both youth and experience to the Duluth FC midfield, where he is open to taking on both defensive and offensive duties.

Torres is attending Barton Community College and spent time playing with Union Española of the Chilean First Division. He played and interacted with the club at the U19 and first team levels. Union Española have won league titles seven times, most recently in 2013, and have won two Copa Chiles. They finished seventh in their most recent season and participated in the 2018 edition of the Copa Sudamericana.

Torres says that his goals this season are simple, he wants to “play good soccer and get a championship”, and also added that the NPSL provides him a perfect opportunity to stay in form and improve before starting his second season of college ball.
