About Leonardo

Returning to Duluth after a successful 2018, Leo Almeida is a talented forward from Bragança Paulista, Brazil. Almeida fought his way into the Duluth FC squad last season and scored the final goal in the BlueGreen’s 4-0 home win against La Crosse Aris.

Almeida proved a talisman player for Lake Superior College where he became a NJCAA Region XIII Finalist and made the Minnesota College Athletic Conference men’s soccer All-Conference team. He also was awarded MVP and Golden Boot awards. He will play at the University of Providence in Montana for 2019.
