About Julio

Julio Neto will bring his talents in both defensive and midfield positions to Duluth FC this season, along with his experience in the Santa Cruz FC Academy’s U19 and U20 teams and a season with Ginga FC in the UPSL, where he was a South Florida champion in 2017.

Neto is currently a junior with Lincoln Memorial University, which is a NCAA D2 school, and spent his first two years of collegiate soccer with Barton Community College, where he was a constant starter and well-awarded player.

Neto voiced his excitement to join the club and revealed he followed the BlueGreens closely last season, especially after they won the regional title and traveled to play Miami FC. “I can’t wait to go to Duluth to meet this amazing people that work and support the club! I have followed the club since last year when they won the NPSL Midwest region and went to play down against Miami FC. I even watched that game.”
