About Joe

Born in Scotland, raised in London, Joe Watt is both a veteran and stand out player for Duluth FC. Watt has played for Duluth in two NPSL seasons, soon to be three, and also played with the club in the American Premier League (APL).

Watt has 11 goals in the NPSL and has been a key piece for both of the club’s trophy-winning NPSL seasons, going as far as to start in every single league match of the 2018 season. Watt has also featured for the Madison 56ers, currently in the UPSL, and Dartford FC in the English sixth tier, or National League South, the second level of nonleague football in England.

Watt’s successes on the pitch aren’t limited to Duluth FC. Watt was a two-time First Team All-UMAC selection member while with St. Scholastica, where he set a single-season NCAA Division III record for assists with 33 in 2013. He had a total of 73 career assists with the Saints, the second most in NCAA history. In addition to his assist record, Watt’s career-best with the Saints was 20 goals in 2013.
