About Damià
Damià Viader, often called Dami, is a Barcelona-born player of well-ranged talent, playing both left back and left wing through his career depending on the defensive and offensive needs of the team.
Dami attends Barton Community college, where he recently entered into the top 5 ranking for assists in Barton history, that being with 16 to his name. Dami’s history doesn’t end there, in fact he’s played for many Catalonian clubs in his time. This includes a stint with FC Barcelona from the age of 8 to 13, a period with Girona FC from the age of 16 to 18, and a full season with CE Europa in the Spanish third division, Segunda División B. CE Europa were founders of La Liga but more recently have spent most of their time in the lower levels of the professional game in Spain and are currently considered a semi-professional outfit.
On top of not wanting to lose fitness over the summer, Dami hopes that his time with Duluth FC will provide good experiences on and off the pitch. He looks forward to, “keep enjoying soccer in the summer and be able to get to know new people.”
