Native of Mahtomedi, Minnesota. Played his college soccer at NCAA Division III Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota. Graduated from Macalester in 2009 , was a three- time All-MIAC pick and ranks in the top-10 all-time in goals scored (27) and career points (65) for the Scots.
