About Alberto

Salvadorian by birth and raised in Florida, Alberto Diaz is a midfielder who prioritizes patience, intelligence, and skill on the ball who comes to Duluth willing to put the work in both offensively and defensively.

Diaz played his Freshman year at Iowa Western Community College, where he was a conference finalist, and recently spent his Sophomore year at Florida Southern College. Diaz also played for the Palm Beach Suns, now known as Next Academy Palm Beach, in the PDL (now USL League Two).

Diaz is excited to bring both his youth and experience to Duluth FC, telling us that, “I’m excited to play for a new team that’s coming off a very successful season. I hope this year we’re able to win it all.”
