About Adrian

Adrian Leal will return to Duluth FC this summer after spending 2018 as an unused part of the squad. Leal had this to say on his second chance to compete with the BlueGreens, “It is an incredible opportunity for local players to have a team like Duluth FC that has accomplished so much in the last two years. I had the luck to be part of the team for a couple of weeks last year, but I had to leave because of personal issues.”

Despite setbacks, Leal is set on becoming a key piece for the club. “This time I hope to have the chance to enjoy the NPLS 2019 season being a Duluth FC player, and help the team, which seems to have no limits, achieve the goals for the year.”

Born in Spain, Leal is no stranger to the Twin Ports, as he has attended UW Superior for several years and has played for UWS, becoming a UMAC Conference Champion in 2018. Leal also is a two-time UMAC tournament champion and made the All-Conference First Team and All-Region Third Team for 2018.
