Duluth FC vs. La Crosse Aris
Public Schools Stadium | Duluth, MN
June 10, 2023 | Matchday 7
Current 2023 NPSL Records (W-L-T):
Duluth: 6-0-0
Aris: 1-4-0
After a blockbuster first half of the regular season, Duluth FC now begins the second half with a home game against La Crosse Aris on June 10. The game will see the BlueGreens rematch against an Aris side that kept that uncharacteristically quiet in their first matchup, which Duluth won 1-0 on the road.
Duluth, however, has still never not-won against La Crosse Aris in the NPSL and will look to make use of that record. A win would mean Duluth would have seven wins from seven games, a massively impressive start.
Duluth are currently 6-0-0, with 18 points. They are in first, eight points ahead of the Dakota Fusion in second place. The Fusion do have a game in hand, as do Joy Athletic in third and Med City in fourth.
Duluth has seen eight different players score this season, led by Kostya Domaratskyy and Tyler Limmer with five each (one of Limmer’s goals came in the Minnesota Super Cup). Duluth has also continued to impress defensively with just two goals allowed in the NPSL. The BlueGreens goal difference, 17, is actually equal to the number of goals Joy Athletic and Med City have scored this season.
While the conference is the focus right now, it’s worth noting Duluth is currently ranked number one in the entire NPSL for points per game. They are also tied with Napa Valley 1839 for the most goals scored by a team this season at 19, though Napa Valley have played an extra game.
We look forward to welcoming you to yet another Duluth FC home game this weekend, as the BlueGreens look to take one step closer to clinching a playoff position while playing the beautiful game in the beautiful city!
