Duluth took home three points on Saturday night after a successful trip to St. Louis Park to play Joy Athletic, who they beat 3-1. The win means Duluth will finish first in the NPSL North regular season standings, earning the #1 seed in the coming playoff tournament.

The scoring started early as Colin O’Mahony scored his first goal of the season, becoming the club’s twelfth goalscorer of the season. The celebrations were cut short by a penalty for Joy Athletic, which was scored to make it 1-1. Duluth got back in it before halftime, however, as Liam Pritchard scored a big goal to make it 2-1 at the break.

Dulut started the second half strong. A goal from Tyler Limmer, who already had an assist, extended the lead for the BlueGreens, while a red card to Joy soon after helped further shift the momentum.

Duluth now have 10 wins from 10 games in the NPSL, with their additional draw in the Minnesota Super Cup meaning they are undefeated after 11 fixtures. The club have 34 goals and have conceded just four.
