Duluth FC kicks off its 2023 season this Saturday with a trip to Brooklyn Park to play the Minnesota TwinStars. The opposition will be familiar to Duluth, having played against the BlueGreens as early as 2016 in the American Premier League.
While a season opener is always sure to surprise, Duluth enters the fixture with a strong recent record against the TwinStars, who they beat twice last season. Those games, 5-0 and 6-0 wins, were some of Duluth’s most dominant results of the 2022 season.
Upon kickoff on May 13, 2023, Sean Morgan will be serving as head coach of Duluth FC for three consecutive seasons. His squad features several familiar faces from last season and beyond, but also a host of new players who will have their first chance at impressing and helping the club on Saturday.
