Duluth FC follows up its big 6-0 win over Joy Athletic with their home opener in a rivalry matchup against Minneapolis City FC. This match will give the BlueGreens a chance to extend their win streak to two and remain on the top of the standings. It will also be the start of a three-game homestand, which gives the team a great opportunity to get the season off to a hot start. The Crows had their first game and home opener on May 7th and ended up winning a close one, 2-0 against the Minnesota TwinStars. Even though this was a tight matchup, the club is an all too familiar foe, who moves the ball around well and always seems to play us tough. Don’t be surprised if the lineup looks slightly different come this Saturday as a handful of players absent in game 1 will be back in town this week to beef up our roster. A couple of players to keep an eye out for this match, who could have a big impact on the game, are midfielders Andres Solares and Kostyantyn Domaratskyy. As well as forward Blake Perry who will be looking to add to his stellar performance from last Saturday. Kick-off is expected at 7 pm this upcoming Saturday, May 14th.
